Lovoï Sustainable Villages, Inc is a Non-Governmental (NGO), nonprofit, grass-roots organization based in the Democratic Republic of Congo with an office in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa and a satellite in Atlanta, Georgia (USA).Lovoï Sustainable Villages, Inc.’s main focus is to achieve self-sufficiency and sustainability through the development of organic agriculture, micro-financing, training and through the implementation of wells and drip irrigation systems.

What We Do:

1. Organic Agricultural Development, fish farming (tilapia), husbandry (goats, chickens) and Bee keeping

2. Water, sanitation/ hygiene and irrigation

3. Project to build a vocational School and a public library (How to books)

4. Health maintenance with the collaboration of Jehovah Rapha Hospital

5. Sponsorship of orphans and vulnerable individuals

How Do We Operate?

Our system is based on providing the necessary tools and training for participants to be self-reliant. Every participant work on a plot allotted to his family. They work the land to cultivate their own food to eat and the surplus is for resell to generate income. Check out our “how to help” page to see a full detailed outline of how you can contribute. There are many ways to help, through sponsoring families, assisting in tool and equipment purchases, and much more.

LSV Inc is funded by donors from around the world. The staff in the USA is volunteer-based and in DRC is 100% local and only few people receive a salary in DRC. Our first phase is just to help the horticulturist 100% of proceeds go directly to the development of the village programs.
